Let’s say that you live in California, and you’d like to take a vacation to get away from it all. Catalina Island Vacation Packages are a good place to start.

The Catalina Yacht club is right along the beach as are the Hotel Vista Del Mar Dessert Island, which gets a 4-out-of-5 star rating. They bake warm cookies for you in the evenings, which are a quaint and enjoyable addition to the stay, and give you a sufficient quick breakfast.

This is a, pretty much, rugged and wild island for it being so close to the coastline. The Catalina Airport will take you into the center of that rugged land. ‘Airport Road’ takes you through some of the most beautiful land in the world as you head the seven miles towards Avalon.
You might find that the Catalina Island Gun Club, which is just a couple miles from the Airport Road, peaks your interest, which is on the way.
